Winner of fifteen film awards, Doug began his career freelancing as an audio and RF engineer in Boston, Rhode Island and San Francisco. As an Editor in New York, Doug has had the pleasure to serve companies including ABCs Houston Medical, Animal Planet, Ballys Fitness, Martha Stewart, Montel Williams, MTV, NYCTV, PBS, Showtime, Sylvan Learning, Tapestry International, TV One, Rogar Studios Emmy award winning PBS childrens show, Chanceplus1 and IFP.
As Editor, Doug's film credits include Anne B. Real with Ernie Hudson and Carlos Leon. Distributed by Universal, this film Ran on Showtime & Stars for about three years. Doug's films have received 2 Spirit nominations and a Prism nomination for films that make a difference. His cut of Returning Mickey Stern starring Tom Bosley, Joe Bologna, Connie Stevens and Rene Taylor is winner of the Rome, Tiburon and LI Expo awards and has just been released through Pathfinders. Doug's Documentaries include If I Die Tonight. winner of the American Black Film Festival and two video Documentaries for PBS. Two of his short Films were featured at Cannes.
As Cinematographer, projects include performance scenes for veteran Paramount UPM Edwin Atkins, Fashion videos for John Richmond, Allan Flusser and Aqua Bandita, celebrity events with Chance Spiessbach, Promos for CBS and Think factory as well as performances and shows including Daniel Beity's Broadway show, "Throught The Night,"
Doug's Producer credits include Associate Producer on "If I Die Tonight," and UPM on the up coming "Wolfdog."
Doug has cut feature films, reality shows, promos, national and international spots, documentaries, trailers, EPKs, VNRs and Industrials. Known for being highly creative, easy to work with, being comfortable with any amount of input and having superb client communication skills. Doug is a rare combination of creative Editor and skilled technician who is often instrumental in getting a show to the next phase time. Doug has served as tech support for production and post houses including Tapestry, and Urban Box Office.
